SEITAN LIMANIA

The Seitan Port, located in Akrotiri, is a beach with crystal clear waters surrounded by rocks in a small creek.
Situated Seitan Ports, on the northeast side of the Akrotiri peninsula in western Crete, 20 km from the city of Chania, there is a beach different from all the others.The wider area is named Seitan Limania, after the wild landscape and the steep cliffs. Here are situated three parallel narrow coves, well protected from the waves.
On the right and the left sides of the cove, huge marble rocks are standing high to protect the beach from the bad weather.
In one of them is the well hidden beach.It is quite unknown to most people, even the residents of Chania.The beach is also known as Saint Rafael, named after the church at the starting point of the gorge.
